Advanced Training Products, Inc. Headlines HR Panel Event Hosted by NJBIA
(Avon, NJ) Advanced Training Products (www.advancedtrainingproducts.com) is proud to announce its sponsorship of and participation in the upcoming NJBIA event Cannabis: Trends, Compliance, Growth and HR.
Scheduled for January 29, 2025 at Cooper's Riverview (50 Riverview Plaza, Trenton, NJ 08611) the half-day event will include several panels focusing on market trends, regulatory compliance, operational scaling, and human resources challenges business in New Jersey are facing from cannabis legalization. While many "Cannabusiness" events narrowly focus on the cannabis industry itself, NJBIA transforms the discussion more broadly with practical topics to support all businesses who are impacted by the changes resulting from the 2021 CREAMM Act.
"CREAMMA represents a radical change in New Jersey employment law, and complying with the various employment-related provisions of the law will not be easy. Employers may want to take steps now to ensure their policies and practices do not run afoul of this new law." said Mark Diana and Michael J. Riccobono of Ogletree Deakins.1
In conjunction with several other experts, Jim Coyle, Co-Founder of Advanced Training Products will be featured in the cornerstone panel, Balancing the Highs - Employee Policies and Workplace Practices in a Cannabis-Legal World.
NJBIA has consistently been a thought-leader in the business community and an advocate for safety, compliance, and risk reduction, and Advanced Training Products is nationally recognized pioneer in safety training and documentation solutions for businesses trying to mitigate their risk around impairment in the workplace. "It is a clear fit to partner with NJBIA in sponsoring this event and participating on this panel. Proactive training helps prevent injuries and saves lives. It's also the right thing to do in accordance with the law. We look forward to helping the NJBIA members and other businesses throughout New Jersey get in compliance quickly and inexpensively." said Jim Coyle, Co-Founder of Advanced Training Products.
Advanced Training Products is the only provider of WIRE Certified Training™ for supervisors and the nation's only Reasonable Suspicion online documentation tool which is FREE for learners who successfully complete the WIRE Certified Training™ course.
